朱程，温州苍南县矾山人，1928年投笔从戎考入黄埔陆军军官学校第六期学员，1934年，他东渡日本，进入东京铁道学院学习。期间，他积极参加了中国留学生的爱国运动。回国后，由朱德同志介绍入党，曾任冀鲁豫军区第五分区司令员、华北民军第一旅旅长等要职，一生身经百战，1943年9月28日在山东曹县东南地区反“扫荡”中英勇牺牲，年仅33岁。杨得志将军亲笔题词称其为“铁军将才”。 影片纪录了朱程从日本回国到为国捐躯这一期间在华北领导抗日民军，在严酷的斗争环境中，斗智斗勇、出奇制胜，率领民军浴血奋战的英勇事迹。。October 24, 1944, the world's greatest battle at sea begins in the Philippines.
