在《麋鹿王》的世界中，故事发生在人类、怪兽、麋鹿三大种族中。而相比憨态可掬的贪吃熊猫阿宝，影片主角麋鹿公主呦呦走的是温柔天真路线，因为吃下不知名的仙草而变成少女，并因此拥有“迷踪腿”绝招，在寻找麋鹿王的过程中，和人类王子开始了一段浪漫的爱情。 影片原名《麋王宝图》，据出品方中视互动负责人杨先生介绍，在熊猫特效班底的辅助下，影片已秘密制作了三年，预计将在今年内上映，此番改名《麋鹿王》，是参考了熊猫制片人和海外片方的建议，也更加符合影片集特效、动作、冒险、喜剧于一体的大片定位。。The plot introduces us to compulsive gambler Sergio, who, despite having promised his partner that he has overcome his accursed addiction, receives a tip-off about a rigged football match.
