人気作家あかほりさとるが原作に携わった同名コミックをアニメ化。アニメ会社XEBECの第1作でもある。このTV版は比較的シリアスな内容だったが、原作に近いエッチなノリのOVA版も発売。魔法を使う特権階級ソーサラーが君臨するスプゥールナ大陸では、悪徳ソーサラーを退治する闇のソーサラーハンターが活躍していた。ハンターである青年キャロットとティラ＆ショコラの美女姉妹ら5人は各地で悪漢を成敗するも、やがてキャロットの中に潜む破壊神が…。。Detective Inspector Mike Shepherd, is good at his job but bad at making labor relations, when it comes to the city of "Brokenwood" to solve a crime falls in love with him and decides to stay, but soon Shepherd begins to collide with Kristin detective Sims.。
