本剧是一个FBI侦探搭档合作破案的剧情喜剧，主要讲述一对「最不可能」的搭档合作破案的故事－－他们一个是诈骗高手，一个是FBI侦探。经 过多年劳神费力的「猫鼠游戏」，联邦探员Peter Burke（Tim Dekay）终于将死敌Neal Caffrey抓获归案。但这并不意味着这个外表迷人、聪明绝顶的家伙从此将在暗无天日的大牢里度过残生……颇具讽刺意味的是，Neal竟然从全美国警戒最严、安全系数最高的一级监狱里大摇大摆地逃脱了！Neal梦想找到失散已久的旧爱，但他等来的不是浪漫，而是Peter那乌黑的枪口。。Lera is a sociology student at a small-town university.
