This story relates to our lives as we strive to do our best, not just in sports, school but also relationships between friends...。侯德仕（马德钟 饰）出生于黑道家族，却考取了调解员资格证，成为了靠舌头吃饭的调解专家。律师欧阳继（李思捷 饰）是侯德仕的好友亦是竞争对手，极度理性的他习惯于用法律解决一切问题，两人因为信念不同常常吵闹不休，欧阳继的父亲欧阳边（黄光亮 饰）在矛盾之中往往偏袒侯德仕，这让欧阳继愤愤不平。
巫瑞薏（徐子珊 饰）从小和患有自闭症的妹妹巫瑞嘉（朱千雪 饰）相依为命，长大之后，事业和爱情都不如意的她来到了欧阳继的律师事务所打工赚钱，在调解课堂上同讲师侯德仕相识。侯德仕待人处事的原则和态度让巫瑞薏十分钦佩，随着时间的推移，两人之间产生了真挚的感情。。
